PR is not getting the Covid messages over to many of the public

By James Knight.

Over the Christmas period we have constantly had mixed messages from Government on health, vaccines, education and the NHS.

During the holidays I travelled on the 33 bus to the supermarket in Richmond, still passengers are travelling without masks, if you approach them you get a lot of abuse, when are they idiots going to learn, or will they?

PR is not getting through to a group of people who lack of respect for all of us. Many of these people don't watch TV, listen to the radio, read newspapers and even go on the web. Marcus Rashford is a great advert for young people getting the messages across, we need more role models like him. It is not only young people, there are many who think it's a big conspiracy.

The people who should and will get bad PR is these idiots outside St Thomas's Hospital in London, what a disgrace they are.

When Allegra Stratton starts for the Government let's hope messages may be clearer instead of mix messaging.

Good news is vaccines coming on line, my fear it could be a post code lottery, communication need to be made clear.

Education is another can of worms, changing messages day by day, mixed messages again. Teachers, parents and children have now have some form of direction, but will it change?

I feel we have many people sitting on heir hands, giving mixed messages. Our NHS staff are doing a super human job as are those in care homes.

There are excellent PR people but they are working very hard in a difficult changing world.

Certain people in Government and senior positions in the NHS should earn their PR bucks - get your messages correct, the public deserve it.
